San Diego Amateur Winemaking Society
ABOUT THE SOCIETY
The objectives of the San Diego Winemaking Society are to foster a general interest in wines and to give Society members a means of exchanging information on winemaking methods, materials and equipment. Regular meetings are held on the third Saturday of odd numbered months. Meetings often consist of a short business session, a technical discussion or a speaker and wine tasting. A newsletter notification is emailed to Society members six times a year before each regular meeting.
Next meeting: The next SDAWS meeting, July 19, will be at Neil Rappaport's home Rancho Santa Fe. Education / speakers @ Noon. Corks @ 1:00PM. Neil has about 500 Sangiovese we can tour. Neil has asked that folks bring the usual items, food, glass and chair.
Pete Anderson and Al Stehly with his daughter Alysha (who has just graduated from UC Davis) will be our speakers.
