I would like to connect a cable from my dryer outlet (NEMA 10-30) to run a Zambelli Gamma 40 220 volt grape destemmer for winemaking. The motor for the destemmer is 220v, 12 amps. Has anyone done this, do you have any tips on wiring, adaptors etc?

It should be pretty easy to do. I have an electrician that could probably give you some advise over the phone. He is semi retired ,so if you miss him, he is surfing and try again. If you need an electrician for small jobs, he is very reliable and insured. His name is Robert, Innerlight electric
619/972/5567. Tell him that you got the number from Denny Keena.
    Good Luck
